Sorry, didn't expect to go off so quickly
Gosh darnit! I got a dislike and got off first place :(
jacob1, you are American then, I am australian and I am telling you if you had to relearn measure, the metric system would be easier: all by 10's. ahhhhh.... I'm so lazy.
I did something with the metric system in 8th or 7th grade, but the metric system is like that thing at the beggining of the year that the physics / chemistry classes seem to start with. We did use it almost all the time in physics actually.
Oh, whoops XD. Well I can't change the title, so I guess I will make it match when I get home. I'm doing this through my phone right now. Also, their starting in high school?! Here they start in elementary.
also, the title is "color", and the description has both ways right now
yes, I know. I do understand the metric system, and they teach it in high schools now, even though many students might not get it at first since they started way too late in learning it. It is just too hard to change the standards a country has used almost forever. All the signs, labels, and everything would have to be changed, and everyone educated on how to use this new system (I know it's simple, but some people just can't learn). I think we will eventually transition to that system, that's what I predict for the future.
That happened because I spelled colour "color" in the description. I changed it though.
The thing that bugs me is the metric system. A base 10 system make so much more sense! It's hard to work with people in other country's. Even NASA made a failed mars rover cause they mixed up standard and metric! Also, converting between is very hard. Even England, the one who made standard, uses metric now!
