most other words though, I do know the non american way, I don't use it but I don't say it's spelled wrong. And this somehow turned into a debate on American vs. British English ...
... I actuually did not know whether Americans spelled it grey or gray, which just shows I guess we can use both. And Americans do not always just do things shorted (ex. spelt). How do other people pronounce 'z'? And we do not call other people jerks a lot, I don't generalize entire countries based on what a few people do.
By the way not trying to be mean. :)
Translation: You are so lazy Jacob 1! Oh my gosh you should totally use more letters!
So lzy jcb1! OMG u shd ttly use more lters!
I do agree. No offence but Americans do lots of things different - why? They spell grey gray, pronounce the letter z zee, pronounce zebra 'zeebra'. And Americans like calling people jerks a lot :)
yes, I just looked it up too, so I was wrong. ... I do prefer color, since it's shorter, and if you don't have enough room in the description or sign, it helps. But the metric system, I do agree we need, except by now, it would cost too much to suddenly change (really not possible to), any change needs to be slow, over time.
*sigh* why does the U.S. do this! Why don't you use colour, and metric system, and all that stuff. I guess we will never have it because it makes too much sense...
I searched it up. U.S. uses color, every other country uses colour.
way more people spell it "color" I think. Isn't colour only england? Or is it all of europe and stuff. I'm pretty sure that color is more popular, but I may be wrong.
