@Synergy: heat-dependent semi-conductors (PTCT, NTCT) will work with heat simulation turned off if you use METL to "trigger" them. This behavior is hard-coded and does not depend on heat simulation. I'm not sure if you can turn it off safely if your processor was not designed with this it mind. I guess you'll have to run a few tests to insure that it isn't broken. That would be nice though, heat simulation is the most CPU-intensive and FPS-hungry.

I have only 60 fps probably due to VSYNC, anyone knows where to turn it off?
-
k thanks.
-
Worked fine for me.
-
I think turning that off would prevent things from working wouldn't it?
-
Also, turning off the heat sim got a 20 fps increase on my side.
-
Oh nevermind I found it. So it seems I get 430fps on a blank screen.
-
sheeeeyit. What;s the command my good sir? Also, Schmolendevice, I have finally found and fixed the problem that was preventing your program from working properly!!
-
@Synergy, *poker face...* there is a command to raise your FPS cap :D.
-
Haha yeah, I am pretty sure TPT is capped to 60fps anyway. I don't get higher than 60fps on a blank screen. I get about 58fps while running this computer on normal (about 55fps on fancy). And it's definitely not my computer limiting me to 60fps. I have a GTX780 capable of running Farcry 3 maxed at 60-100fps and Battlefield 3 maxed at 100fps+
