Vindex_sine_nomine is quite right, "Vikings" were mentioned only those who went "on the Wiking", ie Raids on foreign shores actuated. The term "Viking" means approx. as much as "prey drive", ie a Viking is a "booty rider" ... Vikings could be Swedes, Danes, Finns and other Scandinavians, a "people of the Vikings" there never was.

@Krystian260599: Not to go on the offensive (because you do not appear to be actively hostile to the idea of evolution unlike our fundamentalist friend HMMurdock) but, while it is true that humans have been getting taller over the last millenium or so, this is not due to evolution except in the figurative and superficial sense of 'evolution' as 'any change over time'. Evolution is a change in the frequency of allelles (different versions of genes which compete for places on the loci of chromosomes) in the gene pool of a species. The increase in human height was not due to this, but to better nutrition which arose because of improving farm technology and, more recently, the Industrial Revolution. The timescale of true evolution is far too grand to be measured in mere centuries.

Good idea, Murdock. I am sorry everyone for wasting space when I should've PM'd him. That was arrogant of my. This will be my last comment not involving this save.

Humans never evolved from apes, apes and humans evolved from a single species, like a fork in a rode. And there are literally dozens of species (I think 30?) connecting humans with this common ancestor.
