    It is nitroglcerin for two reasons: Yes, nitroglycerin is indeed a liquid that explodes under shock. Two, what else is abbreviated as nitro that explodes under shock?

    It isn't nitroglycerin. Isn't nitrogylcerin a solid that explodes if you shake it?
