    I think the print head is going to get wider so it can be shorter and pack in more elements. that said I may keep it vertical.

    this is built with very tight timing. as soon as I change something it causes a cascade of retiming work.

    @Sandwhichlizard, If you look at the WiFi inputs (The wifi inside the Rom) some have other pixels such as metal ans pscn infront of them, while the rest are directly connected to the inst. This creates a slight delay of about 2 frames. This is what I was talking about.

    I got rid of the stop button because of speed and timing issues. Tell me why you need it and I can suggest a workaround.

    here is my proof of concept page for the cray. it is in its earliest stages but i wanted to get it out there. I will work it more tomorrow. its midnight where I am now and I need sleep. good night all.

    anonymous, mecha-man. those are both good ideas, there is an issue however. Anonymous100's is nice and compact but a bit slow. mecha-man's could be adapted but it will get in the way of sliding cray rods. I think chasing the filter mech is a wild goose chase when we are talking about making a mech for the cray that works like the filter. lets refocus efforts on making the cray makers work like the filter currently does.
