It's an old ship i made before the i had made any dedicated parts for ship making. It was origonally a ship that was solely made to test my prototype nuclear engines. Since the engines were the focus, the weaponry and armour was left to a pretty basic standard. I named it after the blackrock battlecruiser because it was my favourite ship. it had a little inspiration from the conquest-class battlecruiser aswell.

Judging by the name and function of this ship, it is inspired by the blackrock battlecruiser with the same name from starsector. also, it seems that shis ship lack real Anti-capital weapons.

its gravity generators are on a seperate shielded system so it can repel any ballistic projectiles. ie bombs, sabots, shells and bullets.

emp takes out weapons then fighters/bombers can bomb it till its dust so its not invincible but thats pretty much the only way to actully kill it and not just damage it

In my opinion though, dylantyler and vanbeckhumchris have really thin armor compared to everyone else. I probably like nippy's armor the best because its pretty good at bomb deflection.

I like grav shields personally, and if you have good armor, it doesn't matter either way.

Gravity shields do already have their weaknesses, they are very easy to detect, prot will reverse them, and they push broken armour away from the ship, even if it can still protect it.
