well technicly its not built for battle and if you watch star trek next generation you would know that the ship never enters the atmosphere of a planet -

i honestly always hated this ship, its just so unaerodynamic and i know that stupid engine would break off the second it enters a planet/gets hit by a missile and physics says an engine like taht would make the ship spin out of control cause its not centered on the ship, its on the side with nothing to counter the sideways thrust, in general its crap
