This is called Corium (thanks to the help of sentinal-5), but in this save its a mix of Uranium and Plutonium, and I can tell you how it works; Pressure is needed for this to begin. Free to copy and use in your reactors, but credit is needed. Enjoy! :D

Put 2 rows MAZE between Insulate and Diamond and it heats not over -140C.

Also, instead of using Titanium, you could just place airblock wall over the diamond.

You do know that this is how real life nuclear reactors operate? Imagine that the PLUT is actually U-235 and you have reactor-grade enriched uranium. +1

very good. I have been dumping LN2 on the FILT block for 30 minutes and the URAN is still at max temp.
