@nosirrbro: It is a boiling water reactor, one of several different kinds of nuclear reactor. The other main kind is pressurized water reactor. BWRs boil water inside the reactor, and use the steam to spin a turbine for power. PWRs use pressure to keep water in the reactor from boiling, then pass that water through a heat exchanger elsewhere to make steam for a turbine. -

Amazing deco, although its technically a uranium reactor, not a boiling water reactor as the uranium generated the heat, i think. -
