i think the point is to flip very close wires perfectly inverted, so it can flip circuits, pretty useful if you think about it.

What's the point of this? Why not just make four straight lines of wire, its super easy, crazy small, and has a reason

this can be made smaller; the module can be 5x5 and if you don't use modules, the wires will be even smaller
