    tl;dr: These gasses have basically always passed through these walls, even before the C++ rewrite if I recall. This is probably a deliberate messup for the sake of consistency, but that it's actually being fixed at all probably won't upset anyone at least.

    @luke4061 Yeah... no. That's not really how it works at all, sorry. CO2, FIRE, and SMKE pass through powder walls because its falldown value is set to 1.. And for the record, in a twisted sense they DO obey gravity. Try putting a ball of fire in the middle of the screen and turning gravity off.

    I believe fire passes through powder walls. This is because it needs to be a powder to 'rise'. CO2 'falls'. Therefore its a powder. True gasses dont obey gravity in TPT. Thats my explaination. But yes, CO2 shouldnt pass through a powder wall.

    @Toby2000 Looked it up; I think the chamicals are baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and vinegar (water with 3 to 9% acetic acid).
