The UW begins construction of a Dyson Sphere containing an artificial neutron star the size of a blue hypergiant. The radio beams emitted from its poles will be harnesed for energy, and will power a quantum computer that will encompass the entire structure. It will be built using QMT (Quantum Manipulation Technology), lowering the construction time to a few years. If the entire computing power of the structure was harnessed for a superposition drive, it could teleport entire small galaxies.
The tacterains also begin construction of a second taristan brain.
To give you a sence of scale, a large tacterian ship can easily quantum scan an entire small galaxy for intelegence, and yet if ALL the other computing systems the tacterians have right now where focused on a project as well as the taristan brain, the brain would still be accounting for 90% of the studying.
The tacterans dedicate the entire taristan brain on the neutronium sample - The most processing power ever focused on a single object.
The UW gives the tacterians neutronium tech.
The basic form of neutronium you discovered isn't anywhere as strong as it could be, however it is still a few orders of magnitude stronger than other types of armour.
The taristan brain finishes searching for a more basic form of neutronium. The quantum properties were even weirder than you expected, some of the neutrons were more like tachyons. But anyway, you now have the ability to create a basic form of neutronium, the brain is still processing the actual sample, it will still take a while to complete, but will be much faster if you dedicate more processing power to it.
Some time later, The tacterians use this new tech driven by the neshorish to destroy the neshorish - They wirelessly overide the taristan brain, and repurpose it as a ship factory (it can make stuff out of dark matter). The neshorish are severly weakened and the tacterains take back galfa, and use any spare processing power of the taristan brain that wasnt used by dark matter condensation to study the neutronium.
We have neutronium tech, and you can have it.
