The Proton squares are different temperatures. the Temp sensing system can tell specific temps to 1 degree. each gate triggers the "switch" to sort blocks to there routes.

The switching INSL reflectors are pretty clever too. I tried making something similar for an aimable laser, but it never occurred to me to do it that way - I was using multiple PSTNs and it was horrible...

This is ingenious. It has very limited utility in this form, but could easily be adapted for other purposes. One could possibly even use this to build a simple computer, with data encoded by temp instead of ctype. I have no clue how to do that, but +1 anyway!
