i alternated to allow for the barrel to clear easier. reducing the fuel per pulse or slower pulses just does not deliver the same effect. too much fuel and it starts being created beyond the end of the barrel and it looks bad.

Very nice use of the pulse generator to adjust flow. May I ask why you alternate it though, instead of pulsing all? It' be cool if you could add an angle changing mechanism by maybe using something like the adjustable ngrav angle changers I use for my laser but with pumps instead of gpumps.
