    It's hard to tell how much faster this actually is. For a single particle it appears to be faster, but if you delete the last column of the single pixel pipe, then the pipe finishes first by a few seconds. Always delete the last pixel of single pixel pipe, that makes sure stuff can get out the end efficiently.
