    I craft a copper helmet and continue mining, using my glow lantern to allow me to go deeper into the mine and therefore collect more copper and iron ore, and crystals. Afterwards, I go night fishing using my glow lantern to attract more fish to where I can catch them.

    I think villagers are already allowed to move wherever they want. Just say "I invite villagers to come run my mine" and they'll probably come.
