Avi, you have reached the northern mine, although it isn't a good idea to mine unless you have torches (wood+ coal/tar= torch)

Long, you need sharpened stone for shovels and axes. SB, you need stone (stone is the weakest for tools, not wood) but you can forage for ore bits and melt them in a fire like Avi. You do get wood, though.

SB is fine, thanks. Also, I am guessing this is based on Minecraft? I cut down some trees, and make some shovels and use them and the wood to make the boat. I also mine using a wooden pickaxe to get copper for a spear and a sword. I take the spear, sword, and pickaxe in the boat to the mainland.
