@Sandwichlizard i dont think thats his point. dont get me wrong though you are 100% correct. but his point is more on more of saves that have no point. man i realy shouldnt be diging into this topic :I

See how that worked. this save slid right off front page because it got downvotes. That is why your effort is redundant and not needed. The system works. What your suggesting is just organized group hate and will likely discourage new players.

If by some miracle one of your examples were to get to front page 2 thing will happen. 1. it will get a bunch of downvotes sending it off front page. 2. a mod will probably demote it anyway which will remove it from front page. Thus this save falls into the useless category. -1

1. the view count has NO effect on save ranking, its just a statistic. 2. only upvoting/liking a save will get it to Front Page. 3. if you think a save sucks that bad just downvote/dislike and move on. If it sucks it wont get upvotes and it wont get to front page.

If they do nothing, that doesn't effect anything. I dont think the by votes page goes by views.

To be honest, I think people are smart enough to actually know what to do when there's a crappy save. It's not like someone goes "Oh, a useless save! What do I do!? Lets upvote it!"
