    Fusion reactors don't explode or melt. Well, actually, if improperly built, it can explode like a conventional bomb. It can also explode if attacked or damaged when active. But if it gets too hot, it would likely damage important parts for keepin the plasma hot, and the plasma would quickly cool.

    I've visited the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator in Germany. It is amzing how far electrical science has come since vacuum tubes and such things.
