This would be more of a light bulb than a neon lamp, it's the same principle as a normal bulb, only with more tungsten. Nice idea though!

@RussiaMan. your light sabers are very nice. However. 1. it was not your idea to make hot tung glow. that was the idea of whoever designed the TUNG element. its a basic property of the element. 2. your light sabers do not turn on and off. 3. I see no resemblance to this save other than they both have a rectangle of hot TUNG. 4. you cannot claim ownership of an idea per The Powder Toy adimins and moderators. check the rules.

Weird, I was making neon lights last night with TRON. You do come up with the coolest stuff. Doctors suck. "Do no harm" has been replaced by "Cover your own ass." I avoid the horrid creatures like the plague. :(

yeah and I have been off of my pain meds for a week for surgery, not to mention the anxiety. What the F happened to "do no harm"

Thanks everyone. my surgery has been delayed. I failed my EKG check and need to go for a stress test. they are concerned I may have heart desease. yay, like I needed more problems. if my stress test is OK I will have surgery probably in 2 weeks. if its bad then its a whole new ball game. I am pissed off that they have you schedule all this shit without first testing you. I had the preop check 1 week ago today and they just called this morning. jack asses.
