The first atomic bomb. July 16th, 1945. Raise and lower the device in its tower with controls on right. Makes a mushroom cloud with smoke and alt. velocity- if you use alt. velocity, and bomb casing fully dissolves. Try different heights of burst!

The M65 atomic cannon used the W9, yeah, a gun-type. Both the artillery and the shell were part of the "Grable" shot in operation Upshot-Knothole. It may prove to be too difficult to make a moving projectile also a gun-type fission bomb, idk, we'll see.

@QAPLA Wait, it is the gun type mechanism. Can you actually replicate the gun mechanism.

I don't remember, someone refresh my memory. Did the Atomic Annie use a gun type mechanism, like it's larger counter part or not? I'd think so due to it's elongated design, but I'm not sure.

@QAPLA I meant an Atomic Annie, but the Davy Crockett was pretty nifty as well.

Do you mean the Davy-Crockett recoilless rifle system featuring the W54 nuclear warhead eli? Or the M65 "Atomic Annie" cannon firing the 15kt W9?

Try to make one of the countless cannon launched small scale versions "little boy." They were used for testing after the war ended and I'd like to see one remade here.

@IcerCubez: Artilery fired atomic projectiles will be hard, but I'll do my best. Good idea!
