    Imagine it this way: there are 1024 cells, all of which hold 29 bits. To choose a cell to work with you enable/disable address lines, those are under the "address" sign. To store your 29 bits at the selected cell, you enable value lines under the "value" sign and spark "write". You can get your value back with "read". The point is that you can get it back anytime you want, even after having written and read other cells.
