it formed over head while I was outside today. I have never seen something like this and I probably never will again. how can something be so beautiful, but yet so terrifying? I will never know..

    did you see any atmosphere at the very centre of tornado?

    it formed, above us, but it never really touched down in our area. you could see the rotation very easily and the mesocyclonic was starting to descend. when it did touch down it hit new Orleans

    So... what you are trying to say is that you were inside a tornado, how could you have survived, besides a fact tornados tend to suck debris with them...

    it hit the city, I haven't heard anything about the death toll, but apparently it tore through a elementary school

    why is this disliked? earlier today, at about 11:00, a tornado was in the process of forming over chalmette, Louisiana. me and a few of my colleagues were one of the few witnesses to this rare spectacle
