    QuanTech: there are no centers with the way this is layed out. I mean technically there are, but you can move them

    I tried to solve it, but somehow a ton of SHLD grew on the left edge, and expanded, and destroyed the entire thing.

    That's not how rubik's cubes work, you should move 3 at a time

    the cube still has some flaws, though, one of them being that you can move center pieces around, and you can't turn faces.

    i suggest starting in the solved position, so you don't get an unsolvable cube.
