Yhh.. I can't see eclipse, because I will not fly to USA this year, not counting that now I'm in norway. But I can wait to 2 February 2019. I will probably have money to buy flight ticket for plane to Chile.. There will be next full solar eclipse.

well, you can do solar\eclipse glasses from floppy disk or microwave door glass. sad thing, what i'm russian and i will not have and eclipse either

Anyone who does not have eclipse glasses, make your own out of cardboard and 2x/3x layers of car safety foil. (you know, that stuff in first aid kits with golden/silver sides that's meant to keep injured people warm) Anyways, be careful and pretest your selfbuild glasses, if it's too bright after half a second quickly look away from the sun and add another layer. And anyways, don't look through it for too long, only one minute at a time max.
