There are a few techniques used in randomizer, don't know which is described as unique, so I guess it is the conv(nscn,inwr,etc.) stack that allows bizr detection by nscn and avoid diagonal copy thro inwr conversion.
RE: M1style: One way is to use AND gates to allow bray to pass through to the correct position.
