I made a computer again. It can do a lot of stuff the previous one couldn't and still can't do a lot of stuff I'd like it to be able to do. It definitely can solve quadratic equations. Check the relevant forum thread too. And try tpt.setfpscap(2)!

If we had 2 fingers on our hands

I blame the decimal system you humans are so fond of. :P

Nice! It takes long, but it's worth it. Imagine if TPT had bigger space to build, this would be just simple electronic then. Maybe someone could do it, or even me, if I learn how. +1

Added linear and constant cases. Also fixed a bug where it'd parse 0 wrong.
-
Thanks! I think that's still pretty far off but who knows.

jesus dude it won't be long before you can fully emulate a texas instruments graphing calculator... +1 and fav'd. i love your computers, even though they're lightyears ahead of anything i could even understand

Though it does say *quadratic*. :P

Oh okay, this is the second time someone mentions A=0. Will fix that later.
-
doesn't work if A=0. still miles ahead of what I could do.

Fantastic. I guess we don't yet have a single precision IEEE 754 FPU on TPT yet.
