    It's not really that hard to tell when someone knows what they're doing with color and contrast. Not if you know anything about painting. I think I'm not the only one here who took some art courses ;)

    @DUC yeah. Its just that you (not *you*, generally speaking) cant differentiate between CGI and effort, unless there are things like patterns and artifacts (which could also be done by hand, which is still effort).

    @NoVIcE Actually I think that it's hard to write code that will deliberately and convincingly do a bad job. Simply blurring it or randomly performing a smudge matrix won't do the trick. I think it more likely that a save that's not CGI would look like CGI.

    @nls3244 actually, you can make a program that will deliberately create an "ugly" CGI, so you wont think its CGI. I dont know if youll understand what im saying (maybe because its poorly said). The point is that correlation does not mean causation, ie good art != CGI.
