See, photons travel in straight lines, so having a 'chamber' with a bunch of little pixels of CLNE... doesn't work so well. Also, PCLN is transparent to photons, so if you have a line of it, cover all except one side with void, it'll make a perfect beam.

I used void to remove phot in other directions (making a tube), and the tip the glass gave a tidy, because the laser was not leaving before and I removed part of the diamond to decrease the lag.
