I have spent a while off and on working on a practical use of the (Now old-ish) Refridgerant element. Using the optimal amount of coolant it can cool to ~-32C. I have plans for revisting. I'll answer questions in the comments since I am out of space. :(

    I mean that's true, but, if you have ambient heat on, you can get cold air out of nowhere =P

    Catelite: it needs ambient heat or else it wouldn't be a "true" refrigerator as refrigerators cool the air around the object you're trying to cool

    Good job. Now do it without ambient heat, which isn't conservative, and creates and removes heat willy-nilly. =P
