Rangefinding by measuring roundtrip time of photons is an old idea, but this time the measurement is four times faster while still offering the same precision. Also it's subframe, which makes everything easier :P

    More people will understand subframe once its explained in such way to be understandable and not overcomplicated with unusual words.

    @R33sesK1ng As things are now, it's not creativity as much as free time that stands in our way. Which is why we need more people to do subframe. *winks* or something

    There is not much current computers could do with a screen like that, and that's exactly the reason why we haven't built something together yet. We do occasionally talk in #powder-subframe about these things though, and everyone else is welcome.

    @LBPHacker, You should try to work with mark2222 to make a computer with a full screen. Remember when he made that Rick roll animation save? I was thinking you could use the screen, and make a computer that can make windows and stuff.
