  alternatively just do a slow burn exot based and your VIBR layer is rendered useless...

  The VIBR layer is the frontline of the protection. It's not expected to survive, but it absorbs most of the destruction created by any nuke. If the nukes reaction (like fusion) is still going by the time it eats through the VIBR layer, it has BIZR to deal with, and a number of nasty layers below that.

  Try using CFLM instead of LN2, it prevents the VIBR from exploding (mostly), try looking at the concept VIBR armor I made as well.
