    If you want to see a working one go to my computer, id:1599945. It is also electric, I think you can learn from it. It has an adder with carry logic, so you can analize that.

    BTW you dont need to know Assembly to make a computer. You can actually learn (and apply) assembly-like language while doing a computer. I dont know if not knowing a "modern" programming language affects the difficulty though.
