    Guybrushpowder Your rocket detachment mechanisms are operational and have not shown any malfunctions during the tests. As for the pressure that knocks out the crew, nothing can be really done about it. You will have to design all systems to handle the rocket while the crew are blacked out for approximately 20 minutes depending on exit time.

    Propose a "Draco" capsule, basically the Dragon capsule of our 1960ish current tech level. Test the parachutes and engines ALONE hundreds of times. This process will take a few months, but will give a rocker abort system, extremely safe and pulls people to rocketry.
