Another one of my recent experiments. This (should) accelerate particles to a point that they appear to split into two particles with linked physics. For example, if the left photon is pushed by gravity, it pulls the right photon back with it.

Just think of it being the velocity mod the screen width. As, that's what it is. If you keep accelerating it, vel%screenSize about equals (1/2)*screenSize.

Yeah the effect is there without the middle one. What I mostly want to show is that it's more than just a visual effect to us, the game treats it as if there are 2 synced photons. It's just zooming at a half-screen per frame, so with the actual accelerator turned off, it just speeds up and slows down to appear as if it's 2 photons bouncing back and forth, pulling and pushing each other

The middle accelerator is unecessary, though. The full effect can still be viewed (albeit with more down time in between "flips") without it.

It works with the top FPS set at 60 as per default, but if you remove the limit with tpt.setfpscap(2), the effect is lost. This is similar to the framerate artifact of static blades on a fan or a helicopter. Still, great save +1
