    That said, I'm not sure a carrot would conduct electricity. I know a pickle can but they've full of salt and acid that carry a current. Carrots might be too insulating

    I think Ferrous26 is right. You can hold a live wire, as long as the path through your body is higher resistance than the wire (don't try it though). Though UK plugs often don't open the live bits unless the ground is plugged in first, but that can be worked around

    The carrot would be frying as that happened and the bunny wouldn't get very hurt due to the current not passing directly through its body. If it managed to bite all the way through, current could run through its head, though. That could be fatal.
