I train as many soldiers as I can, then send them to the tunnel to serve and protect.
-
I have a better idea, and it involves patience.
-
Actually, no, not yet.
-
Send some troops through the forest to tear down that new nation.
-
Train all troops I have to be even better than they are now. Better than my royal guard.
-
Have the miners resort to magical means of digging this tunnel.
-
I build a city near the tunnel. Then the workers and their families can move closer.

We don't have gunpowder yet right?

Research ways to use steam more efficently, and how to magnify steam's power. Continue researching the steam engine and build a bunch of prototypes to see if they work. Set up the mining districts again to look for new ore but instead this time install the safety precaustions for the dust and chemicals. Experiment with steam to see if we can make steam-powered weapons.

Immediantly send 4000 troops to the temporary camp, but do not attack the tribespeoples. Tell them we do not want to kill any of them but if need be, we will. Tell them all we want is the sulphur deposit, and that we will pay them just for the deposit. Build fortifications around the camp and set up traps in case they attack us. Have people watch the tribes people at night so they do not surprise us.
