    Build a city at (552, 107). Tell the colonists to build some fortifications around the settlements in the plains. Also, scout out the resources of the plains. the climate, and the fertility of the land and have them return that information to us. If the research on the ships is done and the ships can travel more than 2000 miles, build 10 of the long range ships.

    NuttyMcNuttzz Food is fine, fish, mushrooms, mountain goats, and elks. Your actual government does not have an active role in food production, as most of your population's families provide enough food to support themselves and themselves only. You have not imposed any sort of food tax so everyone just catches/kills/harvests what they need for the month.

    Though just to be clear, the tribes are far from a unified entity. They fight amongst each other all the time, burn villages and crops, massacre settlements and caravans. But this has forged a strong warrior force among the tribes, their soldiers are fierce, and have spirit, not unlike the Gauls and Germans in the Roman Era.
