erictom333 The lowlands contain a very wet and silty soil due to the tundra lands that lie west of you, this ground is good for growing crops like barley, radishes, rice, and various mushroom-esque edibles. Clay can probably be found further south along the coast where the mountains are.

Guybrushpowder Would you like spears to replace swords in any upcoming military units? Currently your population uses spears for fishing purposes at the nearby lake.

DragonEggLol Your food factory can't be built that far away currently, you don't have the means or the navigational knowledge to get through the dangerous swamps that separate you from the plains. Your scouts have found the forests to be filled with a fair variety of edible plants, berries, and herbs. And not many large predators seem to populate the area.

Umm Agriculture is gonna be a difficult development process. The annual winds that emerge from the north bring drought and sandstorms that render what little farmland you have useless. Lack of thick vegetation also loosens the dirt, making it brittle and easily swept away. Dockyards have been built within your existing capital to allow room for more farmland down south to avoid the storms.
