@Plasmey_401k, Yeah, come to think of it, a link would have been a good idea. Haha. However, it's not really a matter of how much "better" it "feels." I expounded on the issue -- ineteresting as it is -- as I saw fit; observation would lead me to believe it was a contribution to the context. That is, I said what I said in light of what had already been going down in the comments.
@Plasmey_401k a third of the comments were people discussing that topic anyway, and another third were people trolling. I'd say it was an improvement. The people leaving compliments weren't here for conversation, anyway, and they do keep coming by.
This is objectively the best post on TPT
R33sesK1ng, I can see where you're coming from, but maybe leave a link in the comments? I totally understand how it feels better and more real, but it changes the purpose of the comments section away from the save. Plus, you don't have to worry about comment lengths.
The real problem is how I've spent days working on a custom scenario on Age of Mythology and I know only one or two people will end up playing it. :'D
@Plasmey_401k, not as many people actually look at the forums. Though I'd prefer to keep it short, it seemed necessary for the moment. At that, I talk about the community being about people being more involved with each other so as to make get them engaged some how (actively or passively) and part of doing that involves doing it here. It seems more organic, if you will.
There are sooooooo many more types to put: the developer, TPTMP troller, power plant addicted, citybuilder(Not that save!), computer destroyer, mememers, science guy, space lover, people who mixes contents of other to create super-complicated-cant-understand thingys, powered bomb obessed, progamers....and tons of other people
I actually read that whole conversation trough and it was very interesting. But one thing i can't understand. Why are people complaining? Like whats the problem here? They are adressing an important problem in the community that should get some light on it. From all the comments if read here those where the most interesting ones. The rest feels like generic anime filler episodes.
