    The photons are converted into electrons whose voltage is raised (multiplied quantity of electrons) and then are converted back into photons which go in a camera sensor. That's why it's similar, I shouldn't've said "the same".

    this is like a camera sensor it converts photons in eletricity so a microcontroler decodes it and make the photo(yes this is a very simple explanation cameras are way more complex than that)and no,the dont multiply photons
