    not to mention that the airlock was not built for docking, nor is it's opening facing outwards for any spacecraft to fit in it.

    there is no nearby station: also, even if there is one, there is not enough O2 for their EVA suits, as they are using it for their own O2.

    i see an airlock so they could go to a nearby station and get help via eva

    i thought about using pipe but i forgot that living thinks cant go into pipes

    you have one goal: create a spacecraft that can extract the astronauts. note: the docking module is unoperable. you'll need to find another way.
