What are you interested in specifically? The 16-bitness or the rainbows?

It can be made to use this display, but it'd still need a binary-to-decimal converter. Those are huge :/

You lost me at array, but here, have a TSNS-based temperature sensor: id:2266090

I've been trying to make this display which can the array the ctype value of filt, but I've failed and gave up in the process. Since TSNS uses the same calculation like your 16-bit counter, with a little tweaking, it could be a very accurate and responsive temperature sensor. :) +1
