    Andy_Sunrise: CANDU reactor designs use pressurised heavy water. it's a very effective design as deuterium is an excellent neutron moderator, and because of this the reactor can use very low-grade fuel while still maintaining high performance (as the neutrons are slower, they interact with the uranium atoms more readily) ;]
