Aerogel i made. i do believe that real aerogel is highly insulative, so i made this not conduct heat.

    It would also conduct only some heat, not none. So basically QRTZ is the best Areogel eqivelent as far as its properties goes.

    This is nowhere near how Aerogel would work. It would at least have some pressure weakness, as the type you appear to be referencing, silica areogel, is very brittle.
