I made the detection area around the cup a lot bigger (a 6 particle radius square instead of a 3 particle radius). This makes it a lot easier to score the 100 points, I hope it's more fun for everyone this way. This has the side effect of scoring 100 points while stickman slightly misses the cup, but it's either that or making it really hard to score the 100 points.

Good suggestions about the game are always welcome. For instance it would be easy to make the game do something special if one of the counters overflows, but I just don't know what to put in. Also I could make the game easier (or more difficult) by changing the size of the target area around the cup, or by changing the length of time the beams take to disappear. Any suggestions?
