uh uranium and plutonium both give off glow as well as polonium -
magnetman33 2nd Oct 2021I'm pretty sure Polonium would be the only one that would glow, neither U or Pu have short enough half lives. And the glow for Po isn't cherenkov, it's just air being ionized by Alpha particles

Why are all of these materials powders? this is the main issue when I made my Fat Man core. Also, they should add Beryllium. -

not quite, cherkenov radiation is the release of photons caused by charged particles passing through a medium like glass faster than a certain speed
