    vostok 1 had 130mm of heatshield which is almost impossible to survive reentry and be realistic in tpt

    Sir, high velocity kinetc energy causes plasma which this thing can't survive. Gagarin burns alive.

    Thechnically INSL is a real thing since there are heat resistant plates it doesn't full stop heat but it takes a tiny amount of heat and can conduct real well so it doesn't melt. BTW cool save
