Along with those, the point that things are unclear is quite true, although they communicate it poorly. Concise UI and easily visible entities goes miles for gameplay. There's also the problem of even getting six players; Nationwide is quite a competitive genre, and there are many other games running that would just as easily suck up players.

First, hosting requires immense knowledge of the real world rise and fall of empires along with the progression of technology *on a surface level*. Going deeper requires proficiency in governance, economy, history, and more.
